Thoughts on networking

Networking is NOT about meeting people. Its about developing long term, mutually beneficial relationships with people. It can be greatly rewarding in all ways to seek ways to help others with no thought of immediate reward or quid pro quo. When people realize you genuinely have their interests at heart, the rest will come, but it wouldn't matter if it doesn't.
